Class A Owners Forum opened in August 2025 for people who own a gas Class A motorhome and are tired of scrolling past diesel pusher threads to find anything about their own coach. The Ford F-53 is most of what gets talked about here, the 7.3 V8 and the V10 before it, with the Workhorse and Chevrolet chassis owners welcome too. Thirty foot Vista, forty foot Georgetown, it does not matter, as long as it runs on gas.

It is run by Gary W., who goes by mod_gary_w on the boards. Gary spent 26 years as the fleet mechanic for a school district in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota, and has owned three gas coaches, currently a 2019 Hurricane 34J that he tows a fishing boat behind. He reads the contact mailbox himself and answers it slowly during walleye opener.

House rules

• Give the coach year, the model and the chassis year on every question. A 2019 coach can sit on a 2018 F-53, and the chassis year is the one that decides recalls, tire age and parts.
• Say what you paid. Buying reports without numbers get a note from a mod asking for them.
• No selling coaches in threads. There is no classifieds board on purpose. Linking a public listing to make a point is fine.
• If you work for a dealer, a broker, an auction or a transport company, say so in your posts. Employees posting as customers get removed.
• Be civil. The V10 people and the 7.3 people share this place, and the pushers have their own boards to go be superior on.
• Mods move posts to the right board and leave a note saying so. Threads get locked rarely and with a reason.
• Accounts are by email request until the spam is under control.

What this is not

Not a dealer, not a broker, not a parts counter, and not the Ford service manual. When somebody here gives you a torque number or a tire pressure, check it against the chart for your chassis before you trust your coach to it.
