first winter with a class A. 2020 Georgetown 5 Series 31L5, V10. it is going into a pole barn north of Bemidji, unheated, gravel floor. it will see 30 below in january. here is my list, tell me what i am missing.

blow out the lines at 40 psi, then pink antifreeze through the pump to every faucet, both toilets, the outside shower. dump and rinse all three tanks, valves closed, a cup of antifreeze in each. water heater on bypass, drain it, pull the anode. fill the chassis tank, stabilizer, run the generator half an hour. chassis and house batteries out and on a maintainer in the basement. tires at max sidewall, boards under them, covers on. steel wool in every hole i can find, dryer sheets, traps in the bays. fridge propped open, propane off at the tank.

two questions. leveling jacks, down on blocks for the winter or up? and does anybody go out and start it mid winter or just leave it dead till april.

good list. jacks up, always, for storage. the seals on the rams sit in the weather when they are extended and the coach does not need to be level to sit. put it on the tires on the boards, retract the jacks, wipe the rams and mist them with silicone. same answer if it is a Lippert electric system.

mice. steel wool rusts and falls out by march. use copper mesh, the stuff sold for the purpose or plain copper pot scrubbers pulled apart. the number one way in on a Georgetown is where the sewer hose storage tube goes through the floor, and number two is the wire chase behind the fridge. i pull a fridge every spring with a nest sitting on the burner.

batteries out is right for 30 below. a maintainer in a warm basement is the only thing that gets house batteries to april alive.

we go south now so no storage, but we stored the old Sightseer for years before that. two things from those years. the roof. get up there in october and look at every seam with a flashlight, because lap sealant that is cracked in the fall is a leak by march when the snow sits on it and melts on the warm days. and do not start it mid winter just to run it. a 20 minute idle at ten below puts more water in the oil and the exhaust than it burns off. either drive it 30 miles at highway speed or leave it dead until spring.

one more for the northern guys since you said gravel and north of Bemidji. if that barn sits on a township or county road, look up the spring road restrictions before you plan on pulling it out in march. the seasonal load limits usually go on the first or second week of march up there and a 20,000 pound coach is over the 5 ton per axle posting on a lot of gravel township roads. a neighbor of mine here in Becker county had to leave his coach in the shed until the second week of may one year. MnDOT posts the start dates and a county by county map every spring, dot.state.mn.us and search seasonal load limits.

small one. crack a roof vent an inch, the one over the shower, with the cover on. a sealed coach sweats inside during the shoulder months and you get mildew on the ceiling by the front cap. and we store with the slides in. slide out puts the topper under snow load all winter and stretches the fabric.

done, all of it plus the copper mesh and the roof check. found one cracked spot at the front cap seam and hit it with a tube of Dicor lap sealant, 14 dollars. jacks up. batteries in the basement. vent cracked, slides in. it is sitting in the barn until, apparently, whenever the township lifts the road limits. thanks all.
